Enbridge Ride To Conquer Cancer

Team Valard Group

Two Days. 200 Kilometres. Conquer Cancer.

The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique, two-day, over 200-kilometre Ride raising funds for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. It is an all levels and all ages cycling journey around the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies and it is dedicated to fighting cancer in all its forms. The Valard Group Team reached overall third place in the team rankings raising just shy of $300,000!

On August 18 & 19th, six Valard Geomatics employees took on this challenge, training and preparing for the ride in addition to raising funds on their own. This is the third time we have participated in this huge fundraising event.

To support their endeavors 3 Valard Geomatics employees volunteered during the Ride via sweeping trucks, pit stops and at the rally point. When the ride was cancelled, they and the other large group of volunteers went above and beyond to keep people safe under the smoky skies and got the riders off the course.

Congratulations to all the Riders, volunteers and thank you to all who donated to support our cycling team.
